The business consists mainly of manufacturing of thin sheet metal in stainless material and aluminium. This is done in the company`s own modern and appropriate premises with modern machinery, in combination with competent personnel and licensed welders.

Our machinery is continuously upgraded to respond to the increasing desires from the customers. Our latest major investment is a laser-cutting machine, which manages up to 10 mm of thick stainless sheet metal.

The largest customer segment today is within the Swedish and the Danish brewery industry, the food, the pharmaceutical and the construction industries. Ekeby Rostfria is continuously striving for a wide customer basis, whereby all have one thing in common and that is were they demanding high quality. Ekeby Rostfria is the “small company” with a large degree of flexibility and rapid decision channels.

A short history about the company is that  it was established in 1969 by Hardy Danielsson and Klas Harder, both of them with several years of working experience. The business was started in a premise of 50 square meters in Truedstorp, very close to today´s premise. The company was already successful in the early years, and extra personnel were hired to be able to match the assignments from Alfa Laval, Nedermanns and so forth.

1976 was a milestone in the company´s history, when Ekeby Rostfria with its five employees moved into their own workshop premises, which by today has grown to 1.100 square meters, including a grind hall.

In 1983 Inge Heidenborg was employed as a planner and this year a extension of the office was also made.

In 1985 Inge Heidenborg became co-owner.

In 1986 Klas Harder left the company for other assignments.

In 2004 Hardy Danielsson finished his involvement with the business.

In 2004 Kjell Åkesson was hired, and in 2005 he became a co-owner.
